How USHEALTH Advisors Brings Hope To Communities Across The Nation

Randy Hildebrandt had a promising future as a pitcher in Major League baseball. He was the star of his High School team. No one who saw how impressive and skilled he was on the mound could doubt that he had the talent to go far. He received a number of looks by talent scouts, and he thought his chances of breaking into the pros were pretty fair. Then it all went wrong. The physical strain caught up with him and he blew out his shoulder in his senior year.

Undaunted, and still determined to make something of his life, Ryan enrolled in Texas A&M. He majored in business. Although he had little interest in the field, he thought it would bring him a good income and give him a decent start in a new career. View more USHealth Advisors Careers and Jobs at monster.com

After completing college, Ryan took a job as an insurance salesman. He was reticent to take the job at first, and he even had to be persuaded to go for an interview. In time, he learned what was necessary to do well in the field. But the most significant change in his attitude and chances for success occurred after he realized he had been wrong about the nature of the work: it was not about selling insurance; it was about helping people protect themselves and their families.

In 2012, Ryan joined USHEALTH Advisors. This was a leap of faith, as he was doing pretty well in the company that first hired him. However, a long talk with the USHEALTH CEO Troy McQuagge assured him that he was making the right move.

Troy shared Ryan’s passion for people, and the young insurance executive knew he would be able to do great things through the HOPE program. Troy established The Helping Other People Everyday (HOPE) program in 2010. Its mission is to make a positive difference in communities across the nation.

Through the HOPE program, USHEALTH Advisors employees have dedicated hundreds of man-hours to rebuilding homes in New Orleans, so that victims of Hurricane Katrina could have a safe place to stay. The company has also raised thousands of dollars for charities that help children who are homeless and those who suffer from serious illnesses like cancer.

The HOPE program has become the soul of USHEALTH Advisors. It has helped define and shape the vision and priorities of the company. Learn more:https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/ushealth-advisors
