Apart from his role at ASC Capital Holdings as a managing partner, he sits in the board of directors of TMS Health Solutions, Mint Medical Education and PipelineRX among others. The renowned healthcare investor is also a member of board of directors and co-founder of TMS Health Solutions, a company which deals with treatment resistant depression. In an effort to make a positive impact on the environment, he has invested in a sustainable reforestation Teak plantation located in Nicaragua. According to Ara Chackerin, in countries like the United States, citizens are struggling to get medical care because of its increased costs. However, they are worried about the amount of the budget they take up and they are always looking for ways to fund it adequately.

 

With the advancements in technology, research and health care, people are leading prolonged and quality lives. Ara Chickerian observed that the issues surrounding medical care today include patients waiting in the line for treatment for too long, sourcing for funds to health care systems and population coverage. Each country is struggling to come up with solutions to help it improve its medical processes.
